This leadership team came together with a mutual vision and 150 years of media & entertainment experience.

Treasure Trekkers Productions also aligned with first in class experts and organizations that have made it possible to bring Treasure Trekkers to the world!

J.S. Friedman

Creator & Executive Producer

A famed professional photographer and author a series of children’s books entitled Maurice’s Valises, which follows heroic adventurer Maurice as he searches for the lost treasures of the world (a micro Indiana Jones). The book series, which has won numerous children’s book awards, was motivated by a previous book project, Earth’s Elders: The Wisdom of the World’s Oldest People. An Emmy Award– winning NBC two-part series on aging took Jerry traveling around the world for four years, meeting and photographing the oldest people on the planet, all of whom possessed remarkable insight and wisdom. Inspired by all of this the world of Treasure Trekkers was created.

Dr. Jacqueline Harding-Vallance

Senior Lecturer and founder of Tomorrow's Child & TCTV

Following a successful career as BBC Editor, government consultant, founder of Parentchannel.tv, head teacher and author of best-selling books for children and adults, she became internationally known as a leading child development across Europe.

Tomorrow’s Child is a highly respected research and production company specializing in children, youth and families with a successful track record of working closely with British Broadcasters, government and commercial companies.

Alice Cahn

Childrens Media Consultant

A children’s media consultant focused on policy, education, entertainment and social responsibility. Recent experience includes Abu Dhabi’s Early Childhood Authority, YouTube Kids and PGS Entertainment. She founded Cartoon Network’s social responsibility division creating content and projects that increased audiences, reversed negative youth and adult attitudes about youth brands, and built effective partnerships with business, government and community-based organisations. Prior to CN, Cahn worked at the Markle Foundation focusing on interactive media research; ran development and production at Sesame Workshop; and headed PBS’s children’s television division.

Arnar Gunnarsson

Season 1 Production Advisor

As a producer and production manager, Arnar is the CEO of the CAOZ animation studio, he was integral in the production of the animated feature Thor: Legend of the Magical Hammer, and most recently nominated for an Oscar for producing the short Yes-people.

Roger S. H. Schulmann

Head Writer Season 2

ROGER S.H. SCHULMAN co-wrote the animated feature “Shrek,” for which he won a British Academy Award (BAFTA) and was nominated for an Oscar® for Best Adapted Screenplay. He previously co-wrote the animated feature “Balto” for Executive Producer Steven Spielberg, and wrote “Mulan II” and “The Jungle Book II” for Disney.

Roger has also worked extensively as a producer and writer for television. He co-created the Disney Channel series JONAS; was Executive Producer of “2Gether” for MTV and was Executive Producer for “Living Single” with Queen Latifah. He co-wrote a pilot for HBO with Tom Hanks.

When he’s not writing, Roger teaches feature and television writing at schools including the University of Southern California and The New School in New York City. He’s currently Artist in Residence at Sacred Heart University. He also hosted episodes of a popular podcast about the Golden Age of radio. He coaches amateur and pro writers at TheWriterCoach.com
